What is Involved in the Dental Implants Procedure?
Surgery Stage
Firstly, we will take a highly detailed 3D scan of your teeth. Surgery will involve inserting your implants into the precise location in the jaw – this is perfectly fine to be done under local anaesthetic, and we will make sure you are kept comfortable throughout the procedure. Stitches will remain in place anywhere from 7-10 days.
Integration Stage
This stage is simply called the integration stage as you will have to wait 3-6 months for your implant to fuse with your jawbone. There’s no need to worry about hiding your teeth from people, however! During this process, we will provide you with a temporary tooth restoration solution so you can live life to the fullest without fear of embarrassment.
Prosthetic Stage
This is the exciting part! When your healing is fully completed, we will then restore your tooth. An impression of the area will be taken and a tooth specifically made for you will be crafted.
