How Does Invisalign Work?
Invisalign uses modern technology to slowly and painlessly move the teeth so that you can perfect your smile. Whether your teeth are overcrowded or suffering from spacing issues, we can use these clear braces to align them.
When you embark on your Invisalign journey, you will be given a series of clear aligners that you will wear for a week at a time on average. These aligners should be worn for a minimum of 22 hours a day, and only taken out to eat or drink. This makes Invisalign a stress-free way to create the smile of your dreams.

The Simple Process
Step 1
Come in and visit our surgery just outside of Southampton for an Invisalign consultation. During this appointment you will meet our Invisalign Gold Doctor, who will talk with you to understand what it is you would like to change about your smile. We will then use our high-tech iTero Element scanner to make a precise 3D scan of your teeth. This will be used to map out a custom treatment plan for you.
Step 2
After creating your bespoke teeth straightening treatment plan, we will be able to show you the end result via an interactive 3D video. This video will show you exactly how your teeth will move over the course of your Invisalign treatment, and how they will look when finished!
Step 3
We will then provide you with your course of aligners. On average, you will need to change your aligners every 1-2 weeks as instructed by your Invisalign dentist. We will check that your clear braces are completely comfortable so that you feel happy wearing them for 22 hours a day without any discomfort. Because they are removable, you can easily maintain your normal oral hygiene routine and enjoy your usual diet.
Step 4
Your Invisalign dentist will invite you back to our Southampton surgery every 4-6 weeks so that we can monitor the progress of your teeth. With this, we are able to make sure that everything is running smoothly, unlike other online clear braces providers. Once your treatment is finished, we will provide you with a clear retainer that will maintain your new smile.
