What is Involved in the Dental Implants Procedure?
Surgery Stage
Initially, our experienced and professional dentists will take a highly detailed 3D scan of your teeth. This scan will enable us to carefully tailor your treatment plan to your needs as a patient. Then, we will follow with surgery under local anaesthetic. Your new implants will be inserted into precise locations within your jaw. Our expert dentists will ensure that the process is pain free and comfortable for you, so you have feel at ease. Once the surgery has been completed, the stitches will need to remain in place for 7-10 days in order to complete the first step.
Integration Stage
The second stage of your treatment will involve waiting for the dental implants to fuse with your jawbone. This step can take from 3-6 months. During this part of the process, we will provide you with temporary tooth restoration, so please do not feel embarrassed. It won’t be long before you can flash your new smile to the world with confidence.
Prosthetic Stage
Step three means that the wait is over! Once your dental implants have fused with your jawbone and completely healed, we will restore your teeth. An impression of the area that requires dental implants will be taken, and a new tooth will be made bespoke to that impression.
