What is Involved in the Dental Implants Procedure?
Surgery Stage
To begin with your treatment here in Brockenhurst, we take a highly detailed 3D scan of your teeth. With this information, we can make a bespoke treatment plan for each patient. Then, we follow with precise surgery under local anaesthetic. Your new dental implants will be inserted with precision and care into your jaw. You can have peace of mind that it will be a pain-free experience for you, and our dentists will do everything they can to make you feel relaxed. Once the surgery has been completed, the stitches will need to remain in place for 7-10 days.
Integration Stage
This stage involves waiting for the dental implants to fuse with your jawbone, which can take between 3-6 months. During this part of the process, we will provide you with temporary tooth restoration, for your peace of mind. It won’t be long before you can show off your new smile to the world.
Prosthetic Stage
Once your dental implants have fused with your jawbone and completely healed, we will restore your teeth! An impression of the area that requires dental implants will be taken, and a new tooth will be made tailored to that impression to give you the perfect fit. There is no bone graft required with this particular dental implant procedure, making it much quicker to complete the procedure as well.
